Hello! My name is Esmeralda and welcome to my portfolio where all the projects I did as an undergrad at the University of Northern Iowa and some graphics I have made in my free time for fun are showcased! I graduated with a B.A in interactive digital studies with an emphasis in digital advertising and visualization. I also have a minor in marketing. Throughout my college and personal life, I have created some cool graphics and worked on various interactive projects within the digital field. That includes creating a magazine for the best coffee shops located in the Cedar Valley using Adobe InDesign, maintaining a travel blog for my digital advertising class and thoroughly generating/analyzing site traffic, creating websites from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and helping recreate a website for the Grout Museum's Veteran's page where I focused mainly on the user experience aspect and data clean up. My line of work has been versatile and helped me adapt to different aspects in the digital field to become a better digital strategist.

Some of the programs within my skilled area are Adobe programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PremierPro. Some certifications I have received are Google AdWords Fundamental Search, Mobile Advertising, and Search Advertising. I know HTML and CSS at an advanced level and JavaScript at an intermediate level. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote have also played a huge role throughout college and work life as a coordinator at VGM.
